Declan Named Captain for the Season Ahead
Declan FC have confirmed what The Lions already knew: the armband stays with Declan. The number 10 will lead the side through another campaign at Declan Park, with the motto — Prepared for Declan — stitched into every speech, every huddle, every Saturday.
“It's not about one player,” said Declan. “It's about eleven of us lining up the same way. When the crowd starts that roar, you feel it in your chest. That's Declan Park.”
Training-ground sources say the captaincy decision was unanimous. The squad — all named Declan — voted as one. The Lions' Den already has a new banner ready for the Rival FC fixture.
