Who we are
Prepared for Declan
Declan FC exists because one player was never going to be enough. So the club did the obvious thing: named the squad after him, named the ground after him, and asked the city to roar the same word twice a week.
We play in claret and sky. We train like the next ninety minutes are already written. The motto is not a slogan — it is a warning to whoever visits Declan Park.

A Short History
Declan's Era begins
A claret shirt, a sky collar, and a decision to build the club around one name.
Declan Park opens
Forty-two thousand seats, a Lions' Den behind the goal, and a tunnel that still smells of liniment.
Captain Declan
Number 10 is handed the captaincy. The rest of the squad — also Declan — approve.
Prepared for Declan
The Lions sit second. Rival FC visit on Saturday. Tickets will not last.
Foundation
Lions in the City
The Declan FC Foundation takes the captain into schools, parks and hospital wards. Same grin. Same kit. Same instruction: be prepared.
Supporters' groups meet under the sky terrace. Junior Lions train on the far pitches every Sunday. If you can shout “Declan”, you already know the anthem.
